Welcome to our Trans-Am Project called, "The Black Pearl" for our new friend, "zman".
We first met "zman" when he requested we "chase" down a pair of fenders for his project. Once we had located some fenders he came by and checked out some of the other projects we had underway. We instantly hit it off!
"zman's" dream is to have his '79 Fisher T-top Trans-Am transformed into a Starlight Black '78 powered by a 400 ci engine.
"Our team is excited to help bring his dream to life!" - Hooper
The section contains a little history on our project, a few project ideas, and photos of our most recent progress.
The "Black Pearl" outfitted with her new YearOne nose.
She arrived already wearing her YearOne nose, bumper and flares. The tail pan had also already been converted into the '78 rear light set up.
Please pardon our dust...this section is under construction. We are reviewing the floor restoration photos to add them to the beginning.
The photos are in order and end with the most recent for this section.

A Great Start...
Once we unloaded The "Black Pearl" we quickly loaded back up and headed to the AutoRama car show in Houston, TX to meet up with "TransAmer99" and the rest of the great gang over at TACH (Trans-Am Club of Houston) of which I am a member.
(L to R) Donald, "Doughnut", "zman", Mason (in front), "Hooper" and "TransAmer99" at the Houston AutoRama 11-27-09
Mason had a great time at the show and even helped load some items we bought at the show. Stay tuned for the full AutoRama story in the News section. We had a blast!
Our 10 Step Process
Donald and I have developed a 10 Step process over the past 20 years of been building cars. We started building Pontiacs before we were out of high school.
"Doughnut" and Eric were much needed additions to our team. Sometimes we do not even have to talk because we all know our roles.
Great Parts Find!
We had a new customer make a request for a nice pair of fenders for his project.
We jumped right on it and this is the result. Below is one of the pair.

I think "zman's" smile says it all, but we'll let you tell you more about his experience.
