She is very clean inside and out.
This was a local car that I had been eyeballing hard for more than a year. The previous owner is a great guy and he and I have become good friends.
She has a new 403 c.i. and tranny. Her interior is very nice and she has become my daily driver.

She had a developed a nasty exhaust leak. Upon further inspection the exhaust manifold bolts would only stay hand tight.
Motor got a touch up with tune up
The heads were pulled, cleaned and baked out, the exhaust manifold holes were tapped and the heads, intake, exhaust manifolds, brackets and valve covers got a fresh coat of paint.
I figured I might as well shave the heads a bit to squeeze a few more horses.
Number Crunching
In 1978 there were only 24,346 Formulas produced compared to the massive 93,341 Trans-Ams.

She has the "K" engine code which makes her an L80 403 c.i., 4-bbl V8 to bring the total down to 1 of 8,969.
She also carries the "L" in her VIN number, which means she is a California girl from the Van Nuys assembly plant
