Well the time has finally come! Through the help of amazing friends, an incredible and a great deal of "chasing" we are proud to announce that the construction of the "Chasers" Race Car has begun. She is named "Fireball" after the Hot Wheels I had as a child. Our goal is to compete in the 2011 season.
The '80 tail pan was removed and ready for '78 replacement.
To show just what our deal can do we decided to take a 1980 Firebird and convert in into a 1977 Trans-Am. As many of you know this is no easy task. The 1980 tail pan needed to be cut out and a 77/78 welded in, the fuel and brake lines are in opposite places and the wiring is different...just to name a few.

Race Car Inspiration
The Chasers Race Car is going to be patterned after this model, vut with a flat black hood and the Chasers logo.

I have wanted to use "Hugger Orange" on a Firebird for a white and after seeing the pop it had on this Fire-Am I knew I was heading the right direction.

Roll Cage
We located another car with an existing roll cage to put into our car.

A Day at the Races
Mason and I took in a day of racing with the highlight being talking with John and Ashley Force.
Mason and I enjoying the day
Mason was decked out in his Force gear and he was the first one that John walked up to.
